Even if Spanish is not your target language, try this one. Are there enough cognate words for you to get it?

– Que le entra Claus-trofobia.
Maybe I’m going too early with the Christmas cracker jokes, but no apologies for the timing, nor for the quality. The great thing about jokes in a foreign language: the achievement of understanding why it’s supposed to be funny immediately makes it funnier. Or if that’s a stretch, then at least you have learnt a new word or two.
